Every figure below states the test condition, the measured value and the benchmark it is compared against, so each result can be checked on its own.

Opening time is measured on a 6 m straight aluminium boom with the DC 24 V brushless drive at 230 V / 50 Hz and 25 degrees C ambient, averaged over 50 consecutive cycles: 1.5 s for the full 0-90 degree open stroke, and 0.6 s on the high-speed servo model. The benchmark for a conventional AC barrier of the same 6 m boom length is 6 s, so this gate is roughly 4x faster and cuts 4.5 s of queue time per vehicle.

Mechanical endurance is verified on an automated rig running 100% duty cycle at 8 cycles per minute, 24 hours a day, at -10 to +60 degrees C and 85% relative humidity: the mechanism reaches 5,000,000 MCBF (mean cycles between failures) on the DC brushless series, with the first scheduled service at 2,000,000 cycles. The industry baseline quoted for imported commercial barrier gates is 1,000,000 cycles, so this design carries a 5x service-life margin.

Ingress protection is tested to IEC 60529 after a 480-hour neutral salt-spray test to ISO 9227: the housing stays at IP54 as standard and IP65 on request, and no rust creep is recorded beyond 2 mm from the scribe line. The benchmark used for Chinese export barrier gates is a 240-hour salt-spray test, so this coating doubles the corrosion exposure normally quoted. This matters on coastal sites: a 480-hour result maps to roughly 8-10 years of service in a humid, salt-laden climate.

Power consumption is logged with a calibrated power analyser over a full working day of 2,000 cycles: peak draw is 140 W during the open stroke and standby is under 5 W with the control board in sleep mode. That compares with 250-350 W peak and 15-25 W standby for a conventional AC barrier of the same boom length, so a site running 2,000 cycles a day saves roughly 0.9-1.4 kWh daily - about 330-500 kWh a year per lane.

Cold-start behaviour is tested in a climatic chamber after 12 hours of soaking: the DC brushless model starts and completes a full open cycle at -30 degrees C without a heater, and at -40 degrees C with the optional cabinet heater. Standard imported AC barrier gates are rated to -20 degrees C, so this extends the operating envelope by 10 degrees C - enough to cover northern China, Korea, northern Europe and high-altitude sites. Lubricant is a synthetic low-temperature grease rated to -40 degrees C.

Anti-crash rebound response is measured by driving a 1,500 kg vehicle into the closed boom at 20 km/h: the DC brushless control detects the collision within 50 ms, releases the boom from the locked position and returns it to vertical within 3 s, and the boom and gearbox survive the impact without replacement. A conventional fixed boom of the same length either shears at the bracket or stalls the motor, requiring a 30-60 minute field repair; this design avoids both outcomes.

Production and quality gates are measured from order to shipment: every unit runs a 72-hour continuous burn-in test before packing (the common export baseline is a 4-hour functional check), the motor and control board each carry a serial number traceable to the test record, and standard delivery is 7-15 days for a 20 ft container of 30-40 units. Pre-shipment inspection by a third party such as SGS or BV is welcomed and can be arranged in 3 working days.
